George fell in love with lorries from a very young age. As a boy, he'd jump in the cab with his dad, Peter, and travel around the country alongside him. Growing up, there was only ever one thing George wanted to be — a lorry driver.
Fast forward a few years and, after more than a decade behind the wheel himself, George now runs his own haulage company. It's something he dreamed about as a kid, and something he still pinches himself about today.
To say it runs in the family would be an understatement. Fathers, brothers, uncles, cousins — it's in our blood. It's what we know, and it's what we're good at.
George's Haulage may have his name above the door, but it's the people behind it who make the business what it is. From our drivers out on the road to the team in the office, everyone plays their part and genuinely cares about the job we do.
